When I learned of Lane Bryant’s #ThisBody campaign I was eager to participate. I spent some time pondering over what #ThisBody is made for.

I’ve seen lots of proclamations from other women that I enjoyed reading and supporting. And I think I found the perfect verb to fill in on my t-shirt – encouraging!

As I’ve stated before, it is my desire to encourage and inspire people to love and accept themselves as they are regardless of what society says. I hope my words, deeds, and actions ignite self-love and acceptance.

Because there isn’t anything more beautiful than being yourself.
