This week’s podcast episode was inspired by a few things. During a conversation with my mother, I realized I’ve heard people say “let it go” in relation to emotional hurt, but I hadn’t heard a lot of discussion surrounding how to do it.
Additionally, I am learning the benefits and importance of acknowledging and identifying my feelings. And after recognizing my emotions, I am learning to take the necessary steps to express them—not just telling myself to “let it go.” I believe this is another act of self-love.
