Sometimes we need to be reminded that we can do whatever we set our minds on. I aspire to inspire others to love and accept themselves and not to conform to the standards and beliefs of a negative society.
It is not a secret that I enjoy shopping. I shop to relax and I use clothes as an expression of my creativity. I am also known to support rising plus-size brands and I have no problem sharing where I purchase my clothes.
Late last year I saw an advertisement for fatislife.com on IG and I purchased the “Got Thick?” cropped hoodie, which is pretty cute. I told one of my friends about my purchase and he asked, “Why don’t you make your own shirts?” And I thought…hmm, why not? So, I went in search of a company to produce Buxom Beauty shirts and the Diary of a Stylish Buxom Beauty Storefront was born!
The DOSBB storefront houses products designed by me that foot stomp the message of self-love and self-acceptance that I promote through writing and simply living. It is my desire that my designs will inspire and encourage the people who purchase the pieces— and the people they encounter while they’re wearing/using the products— to love and accept themselves more.
Each day we are blessed to see is an opportunity to develop into better people. I believe the better we are at loving ourselves enables us to love others more.
